Responsibilities

Position Objective:

The Graphic Designer is a strategic role responsible for creating visually compelling and impactful designs that align with Better Health Group's brand guidelines and marketing objectives. The incumbent will report to the Creative Manager (or a similar role) and will be responsible for translating complex medical information into visually appealing graphics that will play a vital role in delivering effective marketing materials and improving patient experience.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the marketing team and stakeholders to conceptualize and create innovative designs for various marketing materials and campaignsEnsure all designs adhere to the medical group's brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in color schemes, typography, and visual elementsDesign engaging digital assets including videos for the website, social media channels, email marketing, and online advertising campaignsCreate print-ready designs for marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, banners, and promotional materialsDesign visually appealing infographics and illustrations to convey complex medical information in a clear and accessible mannerAssist in selecting and editing images for use in marketing materials to maintain visual consistency and enhance the overall impact of the designsParticipate in brainstorming sessions to develop creative concepts for marketing campaigns and projectsCollaborate closely with the marketing team, content creators, and other departments to understand project requirements and deliver design solutions that meet objectivesStay updated with design trends, industry best practices, and technological advancements to ensure the medical group's designs are fresh, relevant, and cutting-edgeAdditional duties as assigned

Position Requirements/ Skills:

Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual communication, or related field5-7 years experience as a graphic designer, preferably in a healthcare or medical industryProficiency in graphic design softwareStrong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of creative design work, including both digital and print materialsSolid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout compositionProficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration

Physical Requirements:

Requires standing, walking, pushing, bending, kneeling, and reachingAbility to sit for extended periods of timeRequires corrected vision and hearing to normal rangeAbility to operate a motor vehicle and have own means of transportation
