A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MARKETING SPECIALIST:

This position is responsible for developing and creating agency assets to communicate to various internal and external audiences via a variety of platforms to promote VNAHSR services and help expand our homecare and hospice business in Vermont. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Take primary responsibility for day-to-day tactics, monitoring, and management of VNAHSR's ads and social channels, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and emerging social platforms.

Assist Community Liaison with efforts to engage the community through networking and community events. Attend marketing events, trade shows, and promotional activities to enhance brand visibility.

Oversee Employee Newsletter, including developing content, working with program managers to gather information, keeping a pulse on agency happenings across all locations, and creating new materials and sections to accurately communicate agency information.

Demonstrate excellent writing and editing skills, with particular focus and experience in writing for social media using appropriate conventions and voice.

Foster VNAHSR's positive image through creative writing for public-facing materials.

Create all agency materials, including program brochures/one-sheets, event invitations, in-house flyers, and other materials as needed.

Work with VNAHSR website developer to maintain agency website to reflect latest information on programs, events, and clinics.

Work with vendors to keep agency branded materials stocked for outreach.

Complete functions with minimal supervision and strong commitment to results.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related field required.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in designing, creating, and implementing marketing projects; Proven ability to develop materials using creative software

(Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, etc.)

Excellent writing and editing skills, with particular focus and experience in writing for social media using appropriate conventions and voice; Demonstrated strong interest in content marketing tactics and strategy; Ability to differentiate messaging/tone based on audience and medium.

Valid state driver's license required. Ability to successfully pass motor vehicle record check, child abuse, criminal record check and adult abuse check required.
