Manager of Internal Communications & Employee Engagement

communicator to join our corporate communications team to create and implement effective strategies that embody best-in-class employee communications. You will report to Head of Corporate Communications and play a critical role in enhancing communications and engagement initiatives targeting field employees, including drivers and mechanics. This position requires a creative and collaborative professional with strong writing and project management skills, business acumen and a can-do attitude.Your Tasks – Paint the world green

Develop and execute internal communication plans aligned with the overall communications strategy and company goals.Build and maintain effective communication channels for field employees.Create engaging content that resonates with drivers, mechanics, and other employees.Lead development and implementation of corporate culture campaigns and company employer brand positioning initiatives.Organize and manage employee engagement events and initiatives to foster engagement and sense of belonging among field employees.Proactively offer new ideas, concepts, campaigns, and formats to continuously improve employee communications.Play an active role in project planning, scheduling, proofing, and quality assurance.Support attendance of industry events by Flix NA leaders and procure materials (photos, video, etc.) for use by the corporate communications and social media teams.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local managers and team leads, to ensure communication strategies are effectively implemented.Support development and management of crisis communication plans for field and frontline employees.Ensure coordinated and timely responses to any issues affecting field employees.Stay current on leading trends and current events to deliver practical and insightful communication recommendations and thought leadership.Be willing and ready to support peers and ongoing projects as needed.Your Profile – Ready to hop on board

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of work experience in internal communications within a global company, managing audiences in diverse locations and work settings, with at least 3 years supporting field employees. Experience working with a unionized workforce is a plus.Excellent writing and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate clear viewpoints on complex issues and create concise, well-written narratives.Innovative, 360° strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach, understanding the core needs of the business.Proven experience in planning and coordinating events, campaigns, and major corporate initiatives.Experience developing and managing an editorial calendar, creating engaging content across various channels, formats, and planning for both long and short terms.Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management abilities, adept at sourcing content from various departments and stakeholders, with a talent for networking, listening, and gathering information.Expertise in developing creative, effective approaches to reach diverse audiences through visual storytelling, video production, social media, and multimedia experimentation. Familiarity with virtual event platforms such as MS Teams is essential.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities, demonstrating superior organizational skills, efficient time management, and meticulous attention to detail.Proficiency in creative tools and technology to generate and publish visually appealing content. Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, etc.) is a plus.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, showing initiative and adaptability.Ability to create metrics to measure communication effectiveness, reach, and engagement.Our Perks – More than just a job
