We get excited about finding smart, engaging ways to help our clients help their clients! Our Marketing team tackles projects from postcards to catalogs, logo to environmental design, and more! We work hard and take time to play with quarterly events, staff outings, a birthday committee, and everyday ways to celebrate our accomplishments.About you:You love both the blank canvas and working with a clients existing brand. You are comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects using your organizational skills to keep you on track. You’re comfortable pitching rough sketches and collaborating with your team to solve creative challenges. You will employ your exceptional skills in design composition, user-interface, and typography to create and refine impactful, amazing designs. You enjoy the challenge and are proud of every project you produce!What you’ll do:Concept, plan, and execute design for individual stories and full magazines.Assist the Art Director with managing process, budget, and production of all assigned work.Collaborate with photographers, illustrators, and videographers to develop and execute dynamic and engaging content.Work with food stylists to develop recipes that taste great and photograph beautifully.Create exceptional typography based design for headlines and mastheads.Ability to communicate vision and concepts to both internal and external audiences.Ability to supervise and coordinate with freelancers.Capable of mentoring junior design staff and providing direction when neededRequirementsBachelor’s Degree in the field of design OR 3-years experienceResilient to fast-paced environments where tight deadlines are the normProven success with time management skillsWorking knowledge of Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)What will set you apart:Ability to self project manageExperience developing strong client relationshipsMagazine or publication designExceptional skill with layout composition and typographyMUST SUBMIT A PORTFOLIO TO BE CONSIDEREDMittera is a leading-edge company that provides commercial and digital printing, finishing, graphic design, data analytics, direct mail processing, and fulfillment services.
