At Slack, our Growth Product Marketers develop product messaging and positioning, product led go-to-market programs, digital marketing campaigns, and compelling marketing assets. Our success is defined by our ability to deliver relevant content in the customer journey that creates new self-service customers and product qualified sales pipeline.

We are looking for a data driven, motivated product marketer to drive and deliver innovative product marketing to support Slack’s self-service business. In this role, you will be responsible for working cross-functionally with product, marketing, and growth teams to create messaging, positioning, content, and go-to-market strategies grounded in user research and data analysis. The best candidates will be highly collaborative individuals and initiative takers who are motivated by a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities & Impact

Partner with Product Management to understand product strategy and roadmaps, distill key functionality and value into core product positioning and messaging.Experience leading end to end product led growth initiatives and crafting a compelling self serve value propositionBe accountable for exceptional customer experiences that translate to business outcomesBuild consensus, alignment, and engagement across Growth, Campaigns, Creative, Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Pricing Strategy, and Customer SuccessLead messaging and positioning strategy and execution for target personas in partnership with global Go-to-Market, Campaigns, Content, and Corporate Marketing teams.

Required Skills

5-7+ years of experience in product marketing, industry marketing, or growth marketingStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present in front of executives, vendors, partners, and customersAbility to strategize and craft compelling messagingPhenomenal teammate with a proven track record leading and inspiring through influenceHands-on experience building a range of marketing assets, including compelling positioning and messaging, succinct slide pitch-decks, demo videos, and event/webinar content.Pick up and lead new projects even in the face of ambiguityExperience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.)Willingness and flexibility to travel to both domestic and international locations - up to 25% travel
