Andana Consulting, LLC is a boutique marketing and proposal writing agency that supports professional services firms, nationwide, primarily in the AEC industry.We are looking for a Marketing/Proposal Manager to support our team remotely, or from our Ashton, MD or East Liverpool, OH location. Experience with proposals, digital marketing, and experience in the AEC industry or Federal contracting is preferred.The Marketing/Proposal Manager supports marketing activities and proposal management for Andana clients. Duties vary by client but include preparation of proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, various marketing materials, special events, website copy, and more.To Apply:

Strong organizational skills and excellent, written and verbal communication skills are a must. Ability to work/coordinate efforts from multi-discipline teams across the firm’s geographic reach. Must be punctual and responsive during work hours (generally 9am to 5 pm eastern) with flexibility to work with clients in other time zones. Must be able to manage multiple, and concurrent deadlines.DutiesThe successful candidate will join a team of other marketing coordinators and managers, including remote workers. The marketing manager will attend project meetings with Andana and client project managers, principals and other staff to strategize for a winning proposal. Will be responsible for meeting minutes and follow up documents. He/she will research, gather and edit marketing materials, including conducting market research, formatting and posting to social media, creating email newsletters, and other marketing support functions. The marketing manager will assist in all aspects of proposal preparation, including the development of standard materials (project job descriptions and resumes), graphics, document editing, printing, and final document assembly.Education and Experience:High School Diploma, requiredBachelor’s Degree, preferred in English, Journalism, Business or Marketing3-5 years of experience working in a marketing department, preferred A/E/C environmentEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Leads the creation and production of sales and marketing materials including proposals, brochures, and presentationsCoordinates activities to prepare qualifications packages/proposals/capabilities statements including reviewing and analyzing RFPs; preparing proposal plan/checklist and schedule; designing proposal layout; building proposal outline for content; soliciting data from teaming partners; work with client team members to develop proposal win strategy, narratives and produce final “camera ready” documentsManages the entire proposal process, integrates materials from technical staff and produce the deliverable; participates in all aspects of proposal preparation including writing, graphic design, document editing, content review, printing, and final document assemblyEngages Andana team members throughout projects for expertise, review and production support (such as graphic design or QC reviews)Responsible for the quality and consistency of client’s image in proposals and marketing materialsPerforms market research projects and reports as related to specific proposal opportunitiesCreates and updates resumes, project descriptions, and boilerplate information on the server to provide up-to-date qualifications, as needed for client proposalsAssist with public relations, corporate identity, email newsletter/announcements, website updates as neededRequires effective time-management, written communication, planning, organization and interpersonal skills. Must take initiative and be able to work independentlyMaintain client confidentiality and abide by NDAsOccasional travel may be requiredOther duties as assignedThis job has no supervisory responsibilities but collaborates with team members to execute workPhysical Demands and Working Environment:

While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear, sit and use fine motor control and the ability to move throughout the office as needed to attend meetings and prepare documents at the printer. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms or lift up to 25lbs or more. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision. Less than 10% travel.Leave and Holidays:

Compensation includes paid days off on Company holidays, per Company published holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Thursday and Friday, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day).Equipment:

Andana will provide employes with a laptop and home office supplies, as needed for remote work such as docking station, monitors, etc. Maryland-based employees can work from the Andana office at any time. When working remotely, employee is responsible for maintaining a safe, quite workspace and reliable internet and phone services to execute work.
