Summary

Hybrid in IL, with preference given to candidates in Springfield, IL or O'Fallon, IL2 days remote/3 days on-site weeklyThe Manager-Communications & Public Relations serves as a department leader for HSHS ministries. Leads complex communication needs for area(s) of assigned responsibility, writing, and implementing coordinated humanized communication plans. Designs and implements an effective content strategy for social media and other owned media, including content creation, persona targeting, and performance metrics. Manages staff as assigned, providing strategic direction and guidance. Partners with other leaders and colleagues to market and communicate efficiently across the designated outreach channels.

Qualifications

Education QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field is required.Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field is preferred.High School Diploma and five years of marketing, communications, public relations, or related experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.Experience QualificationsThree to five years of experience in communications, public relations, or related field is required.Three years of progressively more responsible leadership experience is required.Healthcare experience is a preferred.Certifications, Licenses and RegistrationsN/A
