Utilizing advanced methodologies and proprietary in-house tools, BakerRisk engineers assess the consequences and risks associated with potentially catastrophic events including explosions, fires, and toxic material releases.Job Summary:BakerRisk is seeking a graphic designer to join our growing Marketing and communications team. This position will be essential in creating high-quality visual assets and bringing original content ideas forward while expanding our brand identity. This individual will be a self-motivated team player who is detail-oriented, possesses strong communication and problem-solving skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. The position requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under multiple deadlines. Ability to plan and prioritize tasks and manage multiple concurrent projects.Specific Job Duties and ResponsibilitiesDevelop compelling graphic elements for a variety of marketing materials, including presentations, brochures, advertisements, course catalogs, corporate identity materials, and more.Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to understand project goals and target audiences.Translate written concepts and information into visually appealing and impactful designs.Utilize industry-standard design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign to create layouts and mockups.Maintain brand consistency across all graphic elements.Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines efficiently.Advise best practices and optimizations throughout design projects.Establish and maintain creative direction for the company within brand guidelines.Determine voice and messaging for graphic design pieces.QA design for errors.Implement feedback and changes whenever possible.Create visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the project.Required Skills & Relevant ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Communications, Marketing or related field or equivalent work experience.Proficiency in programs such as Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator. Premiere Pro a plus.Minimum of five years of experience in graphic design.Familiarity with HTML and CSS preferred.Experience with both print and digital media.Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print, and web.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail.Portfolio of work with a wide range of creative projects.Strong analytical skills.Time management and organizational skills.BakerRisk offers a competitive salary and benefit package including holiday, vacation and sick leave pay, medical/dental insurance, 401(k), Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and potential for a year-end bonus.BakerRisk is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
