Position Objective

The Sr. Graphic Designer will lead efforts in executing the company brand. The incumbent will be a creative thinker emphasizing visual expression to create new and exciting materials. Superior comping skills are needed to provide guides to external agencies and other geography partners. Able to create layouts and compositions based on existing design parameters and expected to generate over-arching creative ideas and round out campaigns from other Marcom teams.

Responsibilities

Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet business goalsObtain input to ensure that designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations, express ideas accurately, and represent the company appropriatelyWork independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines, stay within budget, and schedule project implementation based on workload, which may include five or more simultaneous projectsCollaborate closely with the Product Management team in developing/designing brochures, sales aids, postcards, booth graphics, advertisements, animations, and website designs.Examine existing processes, identify flaws, and create solutions that improve design capabilitiesManage the design and uploading process for all project materials, based on best practices for using our project management toolUpdate and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and videoLeads the development and deploy concepts, templates, and layouts with a clear rationale for other geography Marcom teams to follow.Activity participate /contribute to brainstorming sessions on new product launches or critical productMaintain knowledge of market trends and developments: identify needs for new marketing campaigns to support the strategic plan and make recommendations to product management teams.Collaborate with other departments for product labels, event flyers, posters, etc., as needed.Maintains existing online documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance. (i.e. SharePoint)Support digital marketing projects, including creating and editing websites and advertisements.Manage the media library to drive standardization of branded materials.Assist and mentor junior team members.Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

At least 5 -7 years of experience in the medical device industry or in a similar roleBachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Life Sciences, Marketing, Advertising or similar discipline.Strong organizational skills and attention to details.Strong communicating and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite.This is a hybrid position based out of our corporate headquarters in Kennesaw, GA.*
