The role is as project

manager and coordinator

for the Communication

Service

Core for the Pediatric Pandemic Network

(PPN)

, a federally funded quality improvement initiative by the Health Resources and

S

ervices Administration (HRSA). “

The purpose of the network is to prepare the nation and its children's hospitals to be ready to care for children in everyday settings, disasters, and global health threats.”

Location:

This will be a remote position but may require occasional national travel (e.g. to annual network meetings, or any other travel that may become necessary

)

. Any travel will be reimbursed by the network and is not the personal responsibility of the employee.

Knowledge of database and project management software is required•

Ability to adhere to deadlines and pivot when needed is essential•

Advanced degree (e.g.

master’s degree

)

in an operations management related field is

preferred but is not required.Experience

Experience in project management and process improvement is required.•

Understanding of basic

healthcare

terminology

is strongly preferred•

Previous experience working

in

disaster/emergency management, pediatric

s

nursing

and/or prehospital education

is strongly preferred but is not required

.Grant-funded project experience is preferred.Responsibilities :

Coordinates multiple meetings and projects in collaboration with program co-leads. Acts as point of contact for facilitating and collating feedback, surveys, reports and subject matter expert content review, and other

communications

products from domain partners and projectmanagers

within PPN

.

Tracks

and updates status of project deliverables and works with co-leads to keep projects running smoothly within timeframes/deadlines. Works with co-leads

and team members

to

organize and schedule meetings,

prepare agendas

,

and address after-action items. Facilitates problem solving across domains and triages to appropriate co-leads for resolution.

Experience in hosting zoom virtual events is ideal.

Duration:

The project management position is for a period of

years

(through August 2026)

, conditional on annual performance review. This is a federally funded project and renewal of funding beyond the

If the project is funded beyond 2026, this position may be renewable beyond August 2026

, if network needs continue to require it

.

Salary: $90,000-95,000/yr.
