Church of the Holy Spirit, Cherry Hill, New Jersey, United States,
The Pastoral Associate serves as Director of the parish Music Ministries, oversees all other Liturgical Ministries with the support of a part-time Assistant and volunteer Ministry Leaders, and directs music for and assists with the preparation of Resurrection Catholic School liturgies.
An active Catholicwith a heart for Missionary Discipleshipwho is knowledgeable in Catholic Liturgy and Music is preferred. The candidate should demonstrate piano, organ, and vocal proficiency. They must also have the ability to purposefully prepare and coordinate all aspects ofworship, confidently direct adult and children’s choirs, and enthusiastically lead contemporary ensembles, while serving as a collaborative member of the Parish Staff. Excellent communication and organizational skills are necessary.
Three or more years of experience, comfortability with various styles and genres of music, aptitude with technology, including sound systems, and an awareness of copyright and licensing procedures are all beneficial.
