Marketing Video Journalist

who is an awesome storyteller and has a background in managing a corporate presence in marketing, social media, and print campaigns. As our in-house content creator, you are responsible for taking conceptual direction and then crafting ideas and experiences that engage our audiences at every turn.Our ideal candidate is a strong writer and an out-of-the-box thinker with stellar design chops and a habit of pushing boundaries. As the brains behind our narrative and the voice behind our brand, it is your job to ensure that our messages are always clear, consistent, and fresh. You have a pulse on what is socially and culturally relevant and a proven success growing social media for a corporation brand. Our video journalist is responsible for producing, shooting, and editing video content. The Video Journalist will be tasked with the creation of company content, driver stories, and the promotion of Stevens Transport through print and video-based news features. They work closely with the graphic designer to deliver compelling visual content to audiences through various media platforms.Our Video journalists play a critical role in modern journalism by delivering Stevens Transport news and information in a visually engaging format. Their work helps to keep the company and potential future applicants informed and engaged with current Stevens Transport events.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Storytelling:

Research, identify, and pitch company stories and features including Driver Spotlight video interviews. Develop a strong narrative structure to engage and attract people that want to work for Stevens Transport.Writing:

Write new hire profiles, quarterly company newsletters, driver of the month profiles, internal announcements, and social media content captions. Write content for advertisements and marketing materials, and scripts for company news bulletins.Shooting:

Operate video cameras, including professional camcorders or digital SLR cameras, to capture high-quality video footage. Ensure proper lighting, framing, and sound quality.Interviews:

Conduct on-camera interviews with subjects and sources to gather information and quotes for news stories. Develop rapport with interviewees to get the most compelling responses.Reporting:

Write scripts and voice-overs for video stories. Provide context and narration to guide viewers through the story.Editing:

Use video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) to assemble video clips, add graphics, and create a visually appealing and coherent story. Edit for timing, pacing, and visual impact.Visual Creativity:

Use creative techniques, such as camera movement, framing, and shot selection, to enhance the visual appeal of news stories.Equipment Maintenance:

Ensure video equipment is in working order, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.Compliance:

Adhere to ethical and legal guidelines in journalism, including issues related to privacy and accuracy.Collaboration:

Collaborate with the Graphic Designer and Vice President to ensure that video content aligns with Stevens Transport direction and brand standards.Multimedia Integration:

Contribute to the integration of video content into online platforms, social media, and other distribution channels.Adaptation:
