Researcher / Writer for Natural and Cultural History Tours

We are creating fascinating cultural and natural history tours of creek watersheds in the San Francisco East Bay. The tours are posted on the app PocketSights, listed under Wholly H2O and Walking Waterhoods. While we want people of all ages to take our tours, they are especially geared toward grade and high schools, with an emphasis on telling the story of black, indigenous, and people of color.

The work consists of both research and writing. It necessitates going beyond the 'Wikipedia-level' research, and we aim for a friendly tone in telling the stories of flora, fauna, and human history in each particular location we cover.
