an on call Photo Producer
to join our
Advertising Production team starting immediately
.
Primary responsibilities include partnering with other Producers to manage production of internal Editorial photography
and external production partners. Key accountabilities include
assisting in the planning and scheduling of production projects and then delivering high quality editorial assets across all brands. The ideal candidate will be ready to build upon established strong relationships with the rest of Advertising Production, Creative, Brand, Marketing Systems, Ecommerce, and Merchandise teams, and support the needs of an internal team of Producers, Stylists and various on-call staff.What You’ll Do | Key AccountabilitiesPartners closely with internal Production, Creative and Brand teams to execute against Photo or Video Production strategyPartners with Production to manage expenses against the budget
in alignment with changing needsSupports internal Production in building budgets, sourcing and hiring crewCreates and manage shotlistsManages milestones for photo and video production working with internal and external partners or vendors on timelines and reviews, delivery of final assetsPrioritizes based on capacity, deadlines and competing priorities and co-manages a calendar of all editorial work with Manager Adv ProductionIs an excellent communicator with the ability to align cross-functional teams and external vendors against business goals and timelinesProactively identifies opportunities to improve tools, systems and processes while collaborating with appropriate partners to drive innovation and improvement
What You’ll Bring | Skills & ExperienceAbility to produce a full photo shoot – studio and location5 years of production and post-production for
brands, with art buying, vendor management, and budget responsibilityB.A./B.S. degree or equivalent work experienceHighly organized and solution-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and ability to multitaskProven track record of success while working on a production team or photo studio team and extensive knowledge of creative process, photography and retouching processExcellent communication skills with ability to interact & articulate support of creative goals and further creative vision, ability to negotiate contracts, create vendor compliance and coordinate multi-vendor activityWorks well under pressure and thrives in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environmentProblem-solves quickly and effortlessly for a variety of requests and timelinesManages day-to-day escalations and troubleshooting of production challengesPreferred Skills:Individual should have intellectual curiosity, be self-motivated and seek opportunities for personal growthRetail industry experience in men’s apparel/fashion or related fieldProficiency with DAM systems, Filemaker Pro, Capture One and other related image capture and management toolsFamiliarity with California labor codes associated with productionHands on experience working in a Mac environmentPlease note that you do not need to qualify for all requirements to be considered.
