Television Group (WBTVG) will lead communications and marketing initiatives for Warner Bros. unscripted television programs in all lifecycles, globally. The ideal candidate will support WBTVG Division President and WarnerMedia Studios and Networks EVP Corporate Communications across all affiliated companies (Horizon Unscripted, Shed Media, Telepictures, WBITVP, etc.). They will create, manage, and communicate publicity strategy, consumer marketing strategy, and creative direction for developing and current television shows, websites, podcasts, and new show launches. They will lead all crisis communications, network publicity and marketing partnerships, and direct-to-consumer advertising and publicity on all first-run syndication shows.The DailyLead publicity and marketing efforts for unscripted programs worldwide.Manage and execute publicity and communications plans for new and returning programs, plan and develop sales support material and communications for global sales offices, communicate brand and program messaging to external distributors and platforms, maintain communication and strategy in all executions.Work across organization and producing companies to align divisional, programming, producer, and sales objectives into unified marketing and communication strategy to maximize consumer engagement and revenue potential.Lead press initiatives and internal communications for divisional and executive profile.Partner with corporate communications and other stakeholders to effectively manage crisis communications.Develop consumer marketing and publicity strategy, creative direction, and all materials including on-air, digital and radio advertising, national launch campaigns, and year-around episodic publicity and promotions for first-run programming.Collaborate effectively with programming groups, television executives, corporate communications, producers, and talent to achieve goals. Ensure external and internal partners are aligned on agreed strategy and plans.Plan and manage marketing and media budgets for syndicated programming.Manage and implement integrated marketing partnerships with networks, production and/or WarnerMedia ad sales.Manage department personnel issues, including hiring and maintaining staff of publicists, creative and production managers, marketing managers and embedded producer/writers.Work with programming executives to develop pitch materials, logos, brands and presentations as needed.The EssentialsBA required and MBA/Advanced degree is highly preferred. As with other senior positions, there are significant expectations for the levels of education and experience.The successful candidate has at least 15 years of communications/public relations experience working at a senior level in a major corporation or a public relations firm where he/she/they managed the development and implementation of integrated strategic communications plans for large, complex, and global organizations.He/She/They will have demonstrated expertise leading, managing, and mentoring teams supporting multiple brands.Specific experience in a Global Media & Entertainment company is highly coveted.This person is a proven communications strategist and tactician who has demonstrated the ability to build a brand and manage the reputation of a major business organization either as a public relations consultant or an in-house executive.Smart, outgoing, personable and collegial, this person values networking and appreciates the importance of listening. An analytical and critical thinker who is comfortable offering new and creative communications ideas that support the dissemination and understanding of the company, its unique position in the market and the strength of its performance and its brands.This person has extensive experience counseling senior executives at the highest level and has proven his/her/their ability to become a trusted advisor to them regarding both internal and external communications issues.The desired candidate should be a seasoned executive with a collaborative outlook and a proven track record as a team player, business partner and leadership resource.Exceptional influencing skills and preferred experience working across many areas and organizational levels.Ability to navigate a complex, global organizational landscape with the ability to manage through influence rather than control.Highly organized and very strong management and strategic skills.Strong healthy ego and should be self-confident to deal with high level executives across all the businesses.
