Flexible hours may be required.Requirements:High School Diploma or GED EquivalentFavorable result on Background CheckBasic computer skillsExcitement to learn and growFORMAL JOB DESCRIPTION:Ophthalmic Photographer / Technicians use ophthalmic techniques to perform examinations and workups of patients in a clinic setting and provide Physicians with high-quality photographs documenting patient pathology/anomalies.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPerform Color Stereo Retinal Fundus photography and Serial Stereo Retinal Intravenous Fluorescein Angiography, including IV administration.Conduct external ocular photography and OCT, assist Physicians with treatments.Proficient in ophthalmic terminology and EMR systems, may scribe for Physicians.Review patient medical history, identify concerns, and escalate as needed.Measure visual acuity, perform refraction, intraocular pressure measurement, and visual field testing.Prepare patients for treatments, assist in procedures, and maintain examination rooms.Handle equipment, assist with maintenance, and aim for CRA certification.Utilize EMR, image management systems, and assist in patient procedures.Other necessary skills include reliable transportation, industry knowledge, and adaptability.Physical DemandsRegularly use hands, stand, walk, sit, lift up to 25 pounds, and have specific vision abilities.Education and/or ExperienceHigh school diploma or equivalent, one-year related experience; COA or COT preferred.Contact:
