SUMMARYSeeking adjunct faculty to teach applied voice lessons and Music Education classes on our beautiful campus in Spring Arbor, Michigan. Available courses could include applied voice lessons, Concert Choir (support), conducting, and other music courses depending on the experience and education of the candidate. Assignments for courses in Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and future semesters available.

Applicants must be thoroughly supportive of the University’s mission and values as an evangelical Christian University affiliated with the Free Methodist Church.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEMaster’s degree in Music, with a doctoral degree in that field or a related field preferred. Candidates with a master’s degree in a closely related area with 18 hours of graduate level work and/or significant professional experience in the academic area taught will also be considered. Record of successful college teaching is preferred. Candidates with previous choir director and K-12 music education experience (with teaching certification) and teaching are highly desired.

Experience working in multicultural academic environments preferred and individuals from diverse populations are encouraged to apply.
