All of the work created is grounded in strategies or campaigns that have been developed for the client by the Creative Director and Senior Design Strategist. We’re not just making pretty things - we’re producing top-notch design with intention that drives impact.Job Description – What you’ll be doingWe’re looking for a teammate who thrives on producing tangible results and loves to crank out high-quality design pieces that will be used in print and digital mediums. We need a do-er who loves to bring brands to life through beautiful application of their brand colors, fonts, and elements.Reporting to the Senior Design Strategist as a member of Tellwell’s Design Team.Using established brand guidelines to produce print and digital pieces.Create layouts, formatting text and images, and incorporating design elements for advertisements and newsletters/magazines.Preparing files for print, including color profiles, resolutions, and bleed and trim requirements.Using your functional knowledge of printing methods for materials, promotional pieces, etc.Reviewing printed samples to ensure they meet design specifications and client expectations, and address any discrepancies or issues that arise.Designing digital assets for online platforms including websites, social media graphics, email templates, and digital ads.Organizing digital assets and maintaining the file management system to facilitate easy retrieval and version control of design files.Using Tellwell’s Design Standards to conduct thorough quality checks on designs before they are sent to a client.Adapting to changing project requirements, priorities, and feedback from clients, while remaining flexible and responsive in a fast-paced production environment.Contributing to ideation for design projects, such as branding and concepting campaigns.Working collaboratively with the project manager to ensure that budgets are delivered on-time and on-budget.Working collaboratively with the content writer to navigate incorporating content into projects such as newsletters and websites.Working collaboratively across the design team to provide input and offering constructive feedback on projects and designs to improve the end result.Please note that this job requires working from our HQ in Fargo, North Dakota. We're looking for someone who currently lives in or is willing to relocate to Fargo/Moorhead or the surrounding area.Qualifications – What we want you to bring to the table:A bachelor’s degree in design or a related field preferred2+ years of professional experience in graphic design or production artA stellar online portfolio demonstrating the range of your design skills applied in different styles and mediumsRequired Program Knowledge:Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on InDesign and IllustratorGoogle Suite, including use for file managementBonus Points
