The pay range is $89,700.00 - $161,500.00. Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience, and certifications. Guest Marketing Strategy , you will lead the development of guest-centric, culturally relevant marketing strategies and plans that drive demand for the business, improve equity perceptions with our guest, and build the Target brand. Sr. Manager, Guest Marketing Strategy , leverage your strong leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills to deliver guest marketing strategy, investment, and marketing-driven business outcomes. This role requires strong organizational, strategic thinking skills, and enterprise leadership. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.Strategy Development + Planning:

Development of Marketing & Digital annual strategy and plans as well as enterprise priorities (ex. Owned Brands, sustainability efforts) that drive business, brand, and guest performance. Accountabilities include identifying strategic shifts, how to activate marketing & digital channels, investment decisions, core goals, and measurement.

Enterprise Leadership, Collaboration & Influence:

Leadership of a cross-functional team within Marketing & Digital (Quarterly, Comms and Content Strategy, Retail Brand Experience, Social, Affiliate, Digital, Roundel, Experiential, Media Strategy, etc.) and across the broader Target enterprise (Merchandising, Brand Management, Corporate Responsibility, Public Relations, Finance, etc.). You’ll act as a steward for the holistic marketing plans, bringing consistency to the way we plan, and show up to build guest loyalty, brand impression, and sales.

Data Acumen & Strategic Activation:

Source data across macro environment, business performance, competitive, trend & cultural landscape, guest data, and marketing performance leveraging industry and Target tools. Extract insights and articulate clear and compelling narratives that ignite the enterprise towards action, drive decision-making, and anticipate the future.

Operational Excellence:

You will bring a solutions-oriented approach as the operational model for Marketing & Digital continues to be transformed with a focus on prioritization, speed, and clarity. You will work across enterprise milestones to activate the Marketing & Digital strategy and plans, driving real-time actions and decision-making across partners.

Creativity & Innovation:

You will cultivate a culture of curiosity and learning with a strong emphasis on experimentation and failing forward. You will be responsible for ensuring our Marketing + Digital strategy is meaningful and differentiated fueling growth and competitive advantage.

About you:

Four-year degree or equivalent experience8+ years of related work experience in Marketing, Advertising, Brand Management, Consulting, etc.

Strong strategic thought-leadership with ability to distill information & develop a compelling narrative to ignite action.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to navigate organizational complexity, influence others & collaborate across external and internal partners, functions, and leadership levels.

Strategic thinking and planning skills with proven ability to identify long-term opportunities.

Passion for creating new approaches, iterating, and optimizing as you learn.

Detailed problem-solver, with strong organizational and decision-making skills.

Able to thrive in ambiguous environments, demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and determination.

Have a deep knowledge and passion for both brand and retail, understanding guest mindsets and shopping behaviors to drive decisions.

Analytical acumen- demonstrated ability to deep dive data, extract insights and provide guidance on actions.
