(Senior) Technical Artist - Rovio

Tech Artists, Plum, Pennsylvania, United States,

The good news? We’ve just finished the first milestone in turning tech-artists.org

into a legal nonprofit!

This is going to help ensure the stability and longevity of the site and the community. The bad news? We’ve only got a couple of months of hosting left. Plus, if we want to get full tax-exempt status – which will make it easier for us to do things like get discount hosting for our online chat, or offer educational programs – we need to raise about the equivalent of a full year’s hosting costs to cover the IRS filing fees.So … how about hitting the tech-art tipjar

to help keep the site up and healthy?Me and my close colleague would love to find a third Tech Artist to work together with! Some words to get you interested: Unity, improving pipelines, shaders, tools, beautiful graphics, mobile and scriptingThe studio is awesome. We work in relatively small teams and have a very indie feeling studio (but with the benefits of a large corporation). No divas, no crunch and generally just a good time developing games! It’s absolutely possible to work on games on the side, it’s on a case by case and should obviously not compete with in-house stuff.I’m newly hired myself and I’m loving it so far! I’m missing more people to collaborate and discuss fun tech art things with though. Join us!This topic was automatically closed 83 days after the last reply. New replies are no longer allowed.
