Growing together.As a Rapid-Response Video Producer/Project Manager, you will be an integral part of a fast-paced team responsible for creating compelling video content in response to time-sensitive events, news, and unplanned video opportunities. Your role will involve conceptualizing, overall project management, producing, and delivering high-quality videos within tight deadlines. You will work closely with a cross-functional team, including videographers, designers, editors, and others, to ensure that the videos align with the organization's goals and effectively engage the audience. This role requires candidates to be on-site five days a week at our Eden Prairie, Minnesota office, but with frequent travel.Primary Responsibilities:Content Creation and Development:
Generate creative ideas for videos based on time-sensitive events and projectsDevelop scripts, shot lists, and other necessary pre-production materialsCoordinate and execute video shoots, including managing equipment, locations, talent, and crewConduct interviews, capture footage, and oversee the production process, including all required creative: design, music, etcEnsure videos are visually appealing, well-paced, and effectively communicate the desired messageCollaborate with the team to gather feedback and make necessary revisions
Project Management:
Work closely with the rapid-response team to prioritize and manage multiple video projects simultaneouslyEnsure videos are delivered on time and meet the required quality standardsMaintain organized files and asset management systems for easy retrieval and future referenceStay updated on industry trends, techniques, and emerging technologies related to video productionTrack and update workstream progress in team project management application
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate effectively with rapid-response team and all other team members as needed to align video content with overall marketing strategiesCommunicate project status, timelines, and potential issues to team members and stakeholdersProvide creative input, share best practices, and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment
Account Management
Oversight of relationship with between Rapid-Response Team and clientsDetermine client needs and how to meet them on budget and on timeManage project to ensure clients' goals are met
You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:Proven experience as a video producer, ideally in a fast-paced or rapid-response environment, such as a television newsroomProven ability to manage tight timelinesExtensive knowledge of all aspects of video production, including all elements included in pre-production and post-productionProficient in video editing software and production tools, preferably with full knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud applicationsAbility to work in the field and deliver content while travelingExcellent script writing, storytelling, and creative thinking abilitiesSolid project management skills, including the ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlinesSolid communication and collaboration skillsAttention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standardsFlexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and rapidly changing environmentA portfolio showcasing previous video production work under tight timelines is highly desirableWillingness to travel
