Position SummaryIEM is looking for a

Full-Time, Jr Graphics Designer , they will create visual designs that effectively communicate on brand messaging, including the design and production of layouts, infographics, user interface elements, and iconsPrimary Location:Highly preferring candidates in Morrisville, NC region, you will work remotely from home or personal office location but need to go to the office for print production needsTravel RequirementsOccasionally (up to 30% of the time)Job ResponsibilitiesDesign and produce graphic materials that satisfy a customer needDevelop clean and effective graphic templates and style guidesConceptualize graphics when given limited informationAssist in print copy production as requiredPerform other duties as assigned within the physical constraints of the jobCurrent SkillsDemonstrated high degree of proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)Thorough understanding of graphic design principles, including screen layout, color theory, and typography as it applies to both web and printIntrinsic design abilities, typographic skills, digital expertise, and acute attention to detailStrong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully communicate conceptual ideas, detailed design, and design rationale, both verbally and visuallyAble to effectively prioritize multiple projects to meet competing deadlinesWorks well under pressure and can thrive in a deadline-driven atmosphereStrong organizational skillsFamiliarity working on a PC platformProficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelMinimum QualificationsBA or higher in Art or Graphic Design or related field0-2 years’ experience in a Graphic Design roleMust be legally authorized to work in the USBenefits And MoreStarting salary is based on experience: $50,000.00 - $55,000.0010 paid holidaysVacation PaySick Pay401 (K) plan with matchingCompany paid STD and LTDWhy join IEM?We are a woman-owned company in Emergency Management that embraces teamwork, collaboration, flexible performance, actionable solutions, and integrity/ethics.
