The RoleThe ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic person who works well independently as well as part of a team. They will succeed in a deadline-driven atmosphere with constantly shifting priorities. As a Senior Graphic Designer, they will design and develop innovative and strategic design concepts in a range of mediums including packaging, social media, retail & field marketing materials, digital, websites, swag, and POS displays.The ideal candidate is a self-starter who will lead their own projects, collaborate within the design team, delegate as needed, and manage more junior designers and freelancers. Candidates must efficiently and effectively communicate their ideas to obtain buy-in in a cross-functional team environment and graciously take direction from various parties. The Senior Graphic Designer will contribute to new ways of expanding creative possibilities and procedural improvements while learning brand standards across the Green Thumb portfolio. Attention to detail and understanding the evolving cannabis landscape are required.ResponsibilitiesCreate new and adapt existing brand artwork for projects across various marketing channels while maintaining brand standards.Collaborate with designers, Design Manager, and Creative Director to provide innovative concepts & approaches to project requests.Participate in the creative process by asking questions, voicing opinions, and collaborating with stakeholders to determine project needs.Take creative concepts from ideation to completion, utilizing resources for design ideas.Manage multiple projects and work with multiple disciplines simultaneously.Provide direction for mid-level designers, vendors, and freelancers as needed.Organize digital files to ensure accurate and timely production.Ensure project outputs meet technical requirements for delivery across multiple channels.Ensure brand consistency across assets and work with multiple identities concurrently.Ensure project objectives are met through effective collaboration with internal and external partners.Ensure state guidelines and requirements are met.QualificationsBachelor’s degree preferred.Minimum of 7+ years of Graphic Design experience.Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.Strong design portfolio demonstrating creative problem-solving and experience in consumer goods and retail.Highly motivated, innovative, with excellent interpersonal communication and time-management skills.Strong project management & organizational skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Produce technically correct, print- & digital-ready materials with attention to detail.Open to constructive feedback and interacts regularly with the design team.Additional RequirementsMust pass background checks.Must be compliant with industry regulations.Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.Must be approved by state badging agency to work in the cannabis industry.
