Our Lamar office in Arlington, Texas is now hiring a new design team member to help us bring effective outdoor advertising campaigns to life for brands in Dallas, TX, and the surrounding areas. Comfortable working in and developing multiple spreadsheetsStrong analytical skillsEducation and experience:High School Education or equivalent requiredAn Associate’s Degree, or up to 3 years of college or technical school, in graphic arts or Graphic Design is requiredA minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic arts as a Graphic Designer is preferredA driver’s license is preferred.Or another equivalent combination of education and experienceA day in the life:Graphic DesignCreate and design visually appealing and functional structure artwork, ensuring the graphic designs are “outdoor friendly” while adhering to schedule requirements in timely manner. Includes working with clients to convert their current graphic designs to effective outdoor designs, and helping clients with sizing and translation issues when providing their own artworkWork with other markets to promote and produce campaigns for new digitals and/or PowerPoint presentationsManage special requests and/or graphic designs that require special attentionCommunicate with the printers on uploading art, confirming art dimensions, and confirming advertisement dimensionsWork with the Sales Department to produce spec art and campaign ideas for client proposals.The following duties may vary, depending on location need:Administrative SupportMay be responsible for providing administrative support to all departments in the company, including answering phones, typing correspondence, inputting and researching data, inputting and ordering production, taking and uploading POP photos, and managing social media content.This position may also function as the primary Chartist, with duties such as:Charting SupportMaintain up-to-date lists of inventory for posters and bulletins and digital slotsMaintain an “end-of-day” inventory of all printed materials delivered to the plant and account for deliveries in the charting systemOn a daily basis, chart all requests, contracts and special requests from Sales Account Executives, National Sales, Sales Manager and General Manager for posters, bulletins (both “Perms” and “Rotaries”) and digital slots in a timely and accurate manner. Upload all digital art for play. Upon request upload static art to Circle GraphicsRide the market routinely to check for flags, inaccurate postings, old expired copy and other service issues (i.e. lighting). Assist Sales Account Executives and the Operations Department with illumination problems by checking software program and status of illumination.
