Candidates for this role will need to be in or around the Milwaukee, WI area and will be required to be on site.About the role:As a Senior Culinary Producer for Taste of Home, you are responsible for providing expert food styling services for photography both independently and in a team environment. Always keeping the TOH brand aesthetic in mind, you split your time between a fast-track set, where you style and photograph recipes that will be live on site within days, and our premium food set, where you collaborate with other culinary creatives on cross-media recipe packages. Reporting to the Executive Director, Culinary, you use your culinary knowledge, technical know-how and styling sensibilities to make our high-performing recipes shine. You are organized, flexible and an enthusiastic manager of people and projects, a critical member of the Culinary Team responsible for executing visual content that can be used across all food media products in areas that spotlight Taste of Home’s authority in the food space.About you:Driven by your passion to cook, create and inspire, you’re a highly creative individual with a hunger for meaningful (and fun) work. A person with a diverse skill set and demonstrated success with the many facets required of this role (including managerial experience and being comfortable on camera), you are flexible with job duties and self-motivated to produce the best content possible. You have food-styled recipes on a professional level with other players in the editorial or digital media landscape. You are comfortable styling and shooting recipes, honoring recipe integrity (following the Taste of Home recipe, as written) while maintaining overall brand voice and continuity. You enjoy managing people in person, working amongst your direct reports and peers and appreciate the value of giving regular feedback to help others grow. You are collaborative in nature and understand how to work with and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment to make content come to life across multiple channels. Being a part of a dynamic environment with others who share in your healthy obsession for all things food related excites and delights you!Your day-to-day:You participate in a collaborative team that executes digital and print content as well as work autonomously styling and photographing recipes, meeting daily production goalsYou style food with an accurate representation of Taste of Home recipes that meet our food photography standardsYou manage and mentor team members by sharing technical skills, brand knowledge and leading by example; regularly providing feedback and offering supportYou support culinary strategy by ensuring the efforts of the culinary producer team align seamlessly with team goals and initiativesYou utilize our collaborative web-based platform (Airtable) for scheduling and production workflows as well as our proprietary recipe management system (RMS)You use our digital tools (Adobe Bridge and Woodwing Assets) for digital asset managementYou may be asked to star in cooking videos (hands-in-pans and/or on-camera) for digital and social teamsYou participate in product testing for Affiliate contentYou tackle assignments with direction from the Executive Director, Culinary and work on multiple initiatives simultaneouslyYou have:3+ years proven success in professional food styling and photography experienceBachelor’s degree in a food-related field (culinary arts degree or equivalent experience) or photography/designPrior experience in a leadership role managing people is requiredAbility to prioritize and organize, consistently meeting deadlines and catching all the details whether working independently or as part of a teamEffective communication skills; comfortable accepting and giving constructive feedback in a collaborative environment with a commitment to supporting an evolving, dynamic teamExperience with content production and digital asset management tools such as Airtable, Photoshop, Bridge, Woodwing and Wordpress, as well as Microsoft ExcelAbout this team:As part of the culinary team of superstars, you will not only be among talented, high-performing, goal-focused foodie friends who laugh (and snack) a lot, but you will be in an incredibly unique career.
