Job Purpose

Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its dynamic Creative Services team. This talented individual is a seasoned creative that executes designs for a wide range of marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and communications. The right candidate will be able to voice creative rationale, possess great attention to detail, and successfully meet deadlines with little direction. The Graphic Designer will have the ability to articulate creative concepts and work with internal clients, designers, and other stakeholders to develop high-quality creative that supports and enhances the ICE brand.The ideal candidate will be an accomplished Designer with a portfolio that reflects expertise in digital as well as print. ICE adopts a digital-first mindset, and as such, we are looking for a candidate well-versed in the capabilities and limitations of digital channels.Responsibilities

Work with lead designers on tactical execution of deliverables within projects and ensuring brand consistency across projectsWork with other members of the creative team to execute campaigns in a timely mannerDesign materials according to guidelines and brand architecture for marketing campaigns, digital initiatives, and communicationsWork with Operational Designer to update and maintain creative guidelines as they evolveCreate materials for internal and client presentations across multiple business unitsProduce and update fact sheets, whitepapers, and other marketing collateral adhering to the ICE brand guidelinesMaintain organized files and uphold Creative Services storage and naming conventionsManage business-as-usual design projects in the queue in a timely fashion while upholding brand standardsArticulate creative rationale through strong written and verbal communicationAbility to develop a consistent experience across all deliverables, such as online graphics, presentations, tradeshow creative, video storyboards/graphics, web content, advertising, etc.Coordinate multiple projects while working with a range of internal clients and consistently deliver high-quality creativeParticipate in creative team brainstorming sessions and reviewsDemonstrate a clear understanding of the ICE brand and maintain its integrity through creative developmentStay abreast of trends in design and technology to ensure creative solutions are relevant and reflective of a global organizationKnowledge and Experience

Bachelor's Degree required (Fine Arts, Advertising, or related field)3+ years proven experience in a Designer roleExperience with B2B marketing a plusAbility to travel as needed and stay operative if traveling for businessExperience in design applied to digital and print media in support of integrated marketing communications programsTrack record as a hybrid designer - designing for digital media as well as printStrong knowledge of current digital platforms, front-end web design, and email template designStrong conceptual thinker and creative problem solverAbility to storyboard/sketch or translate ideas to the design team for further idea generation and collaborationAbility to translate complex ideas and data into infographics and other creative executionsCollaborative approach/mindsetEffective written and verbal communication with designers, peers, and internal and external clientsAttention to detail and focus on qualityExtensive experience and proficiency with graphic design software and tools, including Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Keynote, etc.Understanding of, and ability to design for, current social media platformsExtensive knowledge of production processes for print, environmental, and digital mediaExpert knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, and media limitationsOrganizational skills - ability to prioritize assignments and work successfully in a deadline-driven environmentSchedule
