Responsibilities

The Graphic Designer will design and produce marketing department promotions, advertisements, direct mailers, trade show graphics, digital media graphics, videos, training and education flyers/projects, and other materials for the North American marketSupport Product Management and other internal teams with graphics services as neededThis is a hybrid role and will require a mix of working in the office (Brea) and remoteAccountabilities: Design brochures, ads, mailers, logos, flyers, videos, packaging, catalogs, presentations, guides, brand guidelines and forms for both print and digital distributionPerform file production for designated media (print, web, projection, etc.). Design large-format graphics (booths, posters, display) and prep files per vendors' specificationsDesign graphics for digital media (emails, social, web) and optimize design and production for each channelTake lead on certain projectsUpdate/Revise existing files to meet current brand guidelines; edit for trademark and brand accuracy as neededCreate template files for common file layouts, using paragraph and character style sheets, layers, etcCreate editable digital forms in both Word and AcrobatPerform photo touch-ups, color correction, and outlining/masking on photo files as neededCommunicate verbally and in writing with business managers, and translate business needs to print designKeep accurate written record of job progress in Workfront/Basecamp and follow up with project managers regarding job status/progressDiscuss concepts and ideas with Senior Manager of Creative Services and other Marketing Managers; and present recommendationsCommunicate with print vendors regarding quotes and checking job progressCollect and organize all files for printFollow and enforce company standards and brand guidelines for literature, booth graphics, and webPerform software maintenance/updates and keep abreast of new software functionsFile and track projects during and after completionConduct back-ups of all art files on server and maintain accurate tracking of file revisions/versionsEfficiently interact with marketing managers, vendors and publishersQualifications

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field3 years as a Graphic Artist/Designer in a corporate environment or with a creative agencyHigh-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, PowerPointBasic to Intermediate proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere, Microsoft Excel, WordKnowledge of Macintosh OS, network access, etc.Understanding of file production for offset printing, large-format graphics, digital file distribution, and online contentFamiliarity with social media best practices for visual designDemonstrated ability to multi-task and meet deadlinesAbility to align performance for success, drive results, plan and organize, collaborate, and deliver compelling and engaging creative solutions
