The Niche Publications team of Lee Enterprises is seeking a dynamic and savvy graphic designer for three of its St. Louis-based magazines: Ladue News (community, culture and lifestyle), Feast Magazine (food and drink) and ABODE (interior design).

The graphic designer would report directly to the art director and will work simultaneously with our editorial, sales, marketing and off-site production teams to create and produce our products.

Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesDesign, layout and format art to meet required specificationsFollow Creative departments set standards and guidelinesRemain abreast of technological advances in the field and be able to identify areas of use in the organization.This description is not all inclusive, and may include other duties as assigned

EducationAssociate degree or equivalent relevant work experience. Preferred majors include BFA or diplomas concentrated in areas of Graphic design or Communication design

ExperienceTwo to three years' experience in graphic/communication design field

Proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and knowledge in Microsoft Office.

Experience in PowerPoint is a plus

Skills/AbilitiesStrong technical and artistic design abilities a must - portfolio requiredAbility to work independently and interact effectively with multiple teams.Excellent interpersonal, organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at the same time.Detail oriented, with the ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
