Job Description OverviewLanpro is a multidisciplinary consultancy providing expertise in Planning, Design, and Environmental services. Having operated for 15 years, the business has built up a significant client base across the United Kingdom and is now working on some of the most Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects across the globe. In order to recognize the capabilities, track record, and expertise, the business is about to embark on a rebranding mission with a new website and brand story and guidelines. Lanpro is now looking to recruit a Brand and Design Manager to deliver the rebranding process, act as a key brand guardian, and optimize the launch of the rebranding project.Job PurposeThe Brand and Marketing Manager is responsible for ensuring that Lanpro multi-disciplinary services resonate with current or potential clients. Working with key stakeholders, the role will monitor marketing trends as well as review competition in the marketplace, determining demand for technical services to ensure Lanpro maintains a competitive advantage. The role will oversee a wide array of business functions including branding, client communication channels, design and collateral development, online, and offline promotions (including public relations), and market research.The business is going through a full re-branding process so the role will act as a key brand guardian ensuring that brand guidelines and standards are instilled, adhered to, and consistent across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the day-to-day design of Lanpro's marketing, communications, and informational materials, including print publications and online design in line with brand guidelines.Manage high quality and innovative design for all projects meeting (or exceeding) the expectations of stakeholders.Design a research-based brand strategyDevelop and execute marketing campaigns aimed at communicating our brand messageOversee and continually seek to improve the efficiency of the production processes used in marketing.Identify how our brand is currently positioned in the marketCollaborate with other teams across the organization to produce high-quality material that consistently promotes the business and is on brandTake the lead on creative development and execution for some key specific campaigns and projectsLiaise with internal stakeholders and provide technical expertise in online (digital) and print design to support their objectives in alignment with the discipline/proposition needs.Responsible for the development and implementation of templates for routine design tasks and/or projects, encouraging their use by colleagues.Communicate our brand personality internally and align the company around foundational ideasMeasure and report on the success of marketing campaignsAnticipate consumer trends and keep the brand up to dateKeep up to date with developments in design, marketing, and digital technologies within and outside of the charity sector and identify opportunities for Lanpro to utilize.Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the skills, abilities, and position of the role.Person Specification Experience, Knowledge, And Skills EssentialDesign qualification or equivalent work experienceEffective project, production, and stakeholder management experienceProven experience of using advanced graphic and digital skills to produce high-quality workExperience of working within and/or reviewing brand guidelinesAdvanced operational knowledge of Adobe suite (including InDesign) and Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and relational databases in order to produce, manipulate and present information to diverse audiencesWorking knowledge of Google AdWords and Paid advertisement.Exceptional oral and written (copywriting) skills to communicate, influence and impact a diverse audienceAble to plan and manage design workflows to meet challenging deadlinesAble to understand and interpret design briefsAble to use creativity and innovation to exceed customer expectationsAble to manage, develop and motivate a team using effective management styles.Effective time-management and resilience skills to manage multiple projects and conflicting prioritiesAble to build relationships and to resolve conflict with internal and external stakeholdersAble to use a range of digital platforms (e.g., social media) to produce online informationExperience in developing motion graphics and videoExperience of line management and mentoring junior members of staff.Personal Qualities EssentialDriven, proactive and a problem solverAbility to be self-managed, to work flexibly and as part of a teamExpert commercial and negotiation skills when working with suppliers, contractors and procuring products.Other Requirements EssentialDue to the nature of the role, flexible working and/or out of hours monitoring/responses may be required.Compliance with health and safety, equality and, welfare of staff and colleaguesAdherence to ISO accreditation processesLooking after you:
