Job DescriptionRole Description: CoStar Group, a leading marketing services company, is looking for a motivated, artistic all-star to join the Apartments.com team as a Graphic Designer based in Atlanta, GA. This is a challenging and exciting opportunity for a self-starter to join a growing business. Apartments.com offers a social media and reputation management product to apartment communities across the country who need help with maintaining a strong positive online presence.The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualization and design of solutions from ideation to completion, with a focus on production of social posts, graphics, ready-made PSD templates, photo-composites, and simple animations. Candidate should have strong communication and management skills and understanding of layout, typography, and color theory. Highly organized with an ability to plan and prioritize effectively, this position will also be experienced at overseeing successful projects that require collaborating with multiple stakeholders both within and outside the organization.This role offers a hybrid schedule of 4 days a week onsite with 1 day a week remoteResponsibilitiesCreating digital assets for marketing collateral and assist in all phases of projects, including the creation and design of social media campaign visuals, email templates and visuals to communicate product or service features.Designing PSD templates and import to Canva for social team members to use.Developing concepts around brand touchpoints (e.g., defining style of Social Media assets for campaigns).Working closely and supporting the social media specialists.Building and designing Keynote and PowerPoint presentations.Utilizing project management applications like Wrike.Communicating with clients via email, phone and video conference to present work and gain approval on concepts.Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Journalism, Marketing, or related field from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.5+ years of relevant work experience.A track record of commitment to prior employers.Advanced experience in Adobe Creative Suite design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)Working knowledge or FigmaAbility to use Canva in creating appealing digital designs.Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).Proficient knowledge of digital & print production.Excellent artistic sensibility, especially typesetting and layout.Have a good sense of branding and corporate identity.Excellent, visual, writing and communications skills (sentence structure, grammar, varied vocabulary, spelling, and style).Superior organization and attention to detail, with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.Familiarity with major social media platforms. You can easily translate messages on different platforms to reach different audiences.Team player and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment.
