Graphic Designer

Tecovas is looking for a graphic designer with strong technical and conceptual skills to grow the Tecovas business and brand. You'll report directly to the Design Director day-to-day as part of the creative team overseen by the Executive Creative Director. You will help the marketing team solve problems and seize opportunities through conceptual development and creative executions that exceed expectations.This position is based out of Austin, TX but will have the ability to work from home and in-office.What you'll do:Bring top-notch conceptual and graphic design skills to the table to grow and explore our brand's potential, product marketing, and campaign work, making materials that resonate with existing and prospective customers.With a digital-first lens, you'll support/create email designs, paid digital ads, and assets for social media. Familiarity with social media trends and best practices is critical.From one day to the next, you could also design retail signage, packaging, graphic design for t-shirts and hats, illustration assets, and more. Moving seamlessly between traditional and digital formats is paramount.Maintain a well-organized workflow to efficiently collaborate with peers in and outside of the marketing team. Cross-functional work on the marketing team is daily and critical. We test and learn and get smarter with each round of work.You'll work hard and work smart. Critical thought and creative curiosity aren't just nice to have, they're integral to our success.Experience we're looking for:3+ years of experience with the passion and skills necessary to execute best-in-class graphic design across a wide variety of mediums.Comfortable working with Adobe Creative Suite applications, Figma, and other industry standard protocols and practices. A curiosity for AI-supported workflows and efficiencies is integral to our future state.Familiarity working on a marketing team that's ever-mindful of the "customer journey" framework, personas, brand positioning, pillars, personality, etc.Bonus points for photography production experience or more traditional art director experience with conceptual and campaign work.
