Job Description:Create innovative and engaging marketing materials designed to increase market share and sales while strengthening the value of the D.A. Davidson Companies brand.Experience and Skills:Bachelor’s degree preferred or significant coursework in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Digital Design or related disciplines highly preferred.Three plus years of related work experience highly preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in designing on a PC.Must immediately be fully capable of working in Adobe Creative Suite and delivering product within:PhotoshopIllustratorInDesignPowerPointHTMLOnline portfolio that demonstrates success in creating engaging digital, print and results-focused marketing designs.Solid foundation in typography, illustration, iconography, and layout and the confidence to apply them in context.Must be able to deliver collateral built in print and digitally compatibleOrganized with extreme attention to detailExperience or knowledge in all areas of potential media opportunitiesAbility to work independently on an assignmentAbility to work collaboratively as a member of a team.Ability to work with employees at all levels throughout the Companies.Ability to follow policies and procedures and maintain client confidentialityAbility to communicate in a clear, professional and service oriented manner.Duties:Collaborates with client, editorial staff, manager and/or other project participants to understand project assignment, audience, and intended messageAssist as print production coordinator and become proficient in all aspects of printing final productsConduct market researchCreates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging and unified wayChooses graphics, clip art, and stock photography, as appropriate for client needs within brand guidelinesPrepares drafts of design work and provides samples to editorial or other appropriate staff or departments for reviewRevises projects as necessary based on collaborative feedback processDevelop sales literature and presentation pieces for individuals, businesses and departments; recommend layout, content, presentation and productionPerforms other related duties as assignedWhat we offer:Competitive salary plus excellent benefits and perks including, but not limited to:Medical, Dental and VisionCompany 401(k)and ESOP contributionGenerous sick, vacation, and maternity/parental leavePaid holidaysProfessional Development OpportunitiesTuition Reimbursement ($15,000 lifetime cap)Charitable gift-matching programDavidson Day of Giving - Our tradition of positively impacting communities in which we live and work.
