Job DescriptionThe Product Designer – Design System will lead the design of next generation user experiences for our industry leading B2B product suite. They will champion a thriving environment of collaboration, authenticity and healthy critique, in which we honor diversity of thought, create a culture of belonging, and elevate one another. Working alongside our Development, Delivery, and Strategy stakeholders, this position collaborates on and builds engaging content that delights our clients.Job Responsibilities:Own and maintain the design system – creating new components, icons etc.Deeply understand the needs of the customers – talk to them, visit them, study their product usage patterns, and conduct other research you think is necessary.Design all aspects of our industry-leading, web-based product suite.Collaborate closely with Product and Development in an agile, iterative, data-informed product development environment.Conduct regular design reviews, gathering feedback from stakeholders and driving decision-making for product and feature improvement.Provide input on the future direction of the product experience.Possess a deep understanding of the recruitment advertising landscape and Appcast’s unique value we provide to our clients.Qualifications:Experience creating and maintaining a design system and making recommendations for areas of growth or improvement.Communication, storytelling, interpersonal, and analytical skills allow you to effectively communicate complex ideas and concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels within the organization.A portfolio of work that demonstrates your experience, expertise, and process of creating human-centered design solutions with measurable results.Ability to pick up complex products and ideas quickly.Familiarity with popular project management (Jira, etc.) and design utilities (Figma, etc.).Education and Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in HCI/UX, Social Science, Psychology, Research, or other related field, or equivalent experience.3+ years experience in a B2B product design role, preferably in a complex domain.
