Designer with the ability to communicate and collaborate with architects, contractors, clients, carpenters, and vendors. If you have a positive teamwork spirit and love diving into technical details, we’d love to meet you!Skills/Qualifications:Computer proficiency in Auto CAD, Excel and OutlookAbility to meet or beat deadlines and manage timelinesValid driver’s license and properly insured vehiclePrimary Job DutiesDrafting - create detailed shop drawings of windows, doors, cabinetry and furnitureProject Management – Address questions, details & revisions as they occur with the project team (shop, designer and installer) and initiate revisions to drawingsEstimating - Determine material and labor budgets in accordance with project specifications with collaboration of shop foreman as necessary in terms of joinery and/or build approachPurchasing - facilitate the construction activities of the shop with on time deliveries of lumber, hardware, accessories, and sundries for each project with budget in mindOther Experience a plus:Experience with CNC related programsWorking kno0wledge of window & door or cabinetry construction$55k-65K DOEGreat Benefits PackagePTO (Paid Time Off)Paid holidaysLow-cost medical coverage w/vision and dental options401k plan and profit-sharing potentialPlease include a portfolio or samples of your work when applying.Versatile Wood Products is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
