As a Product Designer at Remark you will responsible for executing on the vision and strategy of the Remark brand. You'll work extremely closely with the engineering team to ensure designs are thoughtful and well reasoned. The role requires deeply understanding and relating to our customer, and solving issues they didn't even know they had. You'll be responsible for advancing Remark’s design across web, mobile, merchant dashboard, and more.Responsibilities

Own new product features from start to finish. Idea, user research, experience design, pixel-perfect visuals, and (maybe even) front-end implementation.Lead design for the holistic Remark brand, from user landing pages, to profile pages, to marketing materials.Own accountability for the performance of key deliverables, including impact to the business and our customers.Develop an actionable roadmap, maintain timelines, and work with cross-functional teams.Ability to stay organized while working against given deadlines while also managing ASAP requests.Balance speed and quality, with a focus on tangible results.Minimum Requirements:You have at least 3-5 years of prior experience in design organizations that have shipped software to users, working closely with Product and Engineering teammates to develop the strategy and rationale for features.You have an outstanding portfolio, with presentable case studies showcasing a strong foundation in product sense, idea generation, typography, interaction and visual design.You have a sharp intuition for how people use (and wish they could use) products.You love thinking holistically: Your considerations go beyond pretty UI and include thinking about the implications of your designs, what's most effective towards helping students learn and collaborate, what's best for the business, and how to balance speed and craft.You're a masterful communicator and storyteller, able to draw people in and enhance understanding through design and written language.You have a love for and healthy fear of design systems, and understand why they are important. Particular emphasis and respect for Figma’s auto-layout.Experience partnering with highly technical teams is a plusExperience setting/working towards KPIs and OKRs is a plusThrive in a fast-paced environment
