ABOUT THE POSITIONThe

Regional Energy Marketing Manager

is responsible for the management of the Energy Department in the assigned territory, including (but not limited to) sales, purchases, accounting, margin analysis, inventory, pricing, equipment install and maintenance, and forecasting/budget needs. A successful employee will possess strong communication skills in addition to a strong understanding of NYMEX futures markets, fuel hedging and quoting futures contracts. This position also includes supervision of assigned employees, and maintenance of all energy facilities. A description of the duties includes:Serves as the primary contact for quotes and dispatching for customer orders and deliveries of bulk and transport products for the region;Promotes new products and services to customers;Responsible for maintaining current/potential customer base and prospecting new customers;Management of energy margins and expenses for the assigned region;Responsible for setting and maintaining fuel prices in the assigned region, including bulk and transport products;Responsible for the management of inventory levels in the assigned region, ensuring appropriate levels based on markets and time of year (volume variances);Responsible for fuel dispenser and software maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting in the assigned region;Responsible for installing and managing tank monitors (both customer and company monitors) and observing daily to ensure timely dispatching to ensure efficient, safe and timely deliveries;Coordinates facility licensing;Responsible for maintaining strong communication with refineries to plan for turnarounds, shutdowns, or other issues that would impact product availability. This would include consistent monitoring of e-mail and text message communications in addition to verbal communication;Responsible for maintaining a strong relationship with common carriers to ensure priority status;Responsible for keeping up to date on all new technology and safety regulations;Exhibits sufficient computer technology skills;Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations; responds promptly to customer needs, resolves questions, complaints, and concerns immediately and meets commitments;Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees, and management;Maintains a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the organization;Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements;Complies with all state and federal laws, codes, and regulations;Presents a clean and professional appearance;Responsible for prompt and regular attendance;Employee is required to perform all other duties as assigned.POSITION REQUIREMENTSAssociate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proficient with Microsoft Office products;Prior supervisory experience preferred;Valid driver's license required;Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License with Hazmat Endorsement if required;Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds.
