College of Arts & SciencesThe Boise State University Department of Communication invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Interpersonal Communication to begin Fall 2025. We seek candidates with expertise in interpersonal/relational communication, particularly in health/well-being. The ideal candidate will help shape the department by creating innovative classes, engaging in research, and mentoring students.Candidates must demonstrate the ability to teach undergraduate courses including core courses, interpersonal communication, advanced relational communication, and special topics. Preference is for candidates with experience in qualitative, quantitative, and/or mixed methods research.This position supports the University's mission of providing quality education and is committed to student success. The first year will have a 2/3 teaching load.
