Web Designer – Senior (Special Projects)

is responsible for designing and building web pages using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools. This position will provide support to develop an online and interactive entrance/ intake site for all cybersecurity services; with various questionnaire forms, subsequent workflows to include email notifications, and site redirection to support governance.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop user interface features, site animation, and special-effects elements.Contribute to the design group’s efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s online offerings.Design websites to support the organization’s strategies and goals relative to external communications.Create aesthetically pleasing landing pages, and input forms for a dynamic user experience.Develop and deliver a project plan, including but not limited to a communications plan, implementation plan, user/admin permission matrix, training plan, deployment plan, and sustainment plan. All plans must include milestones, metrics, and criteria to determine what constitutes success.Advise senior management on identified risks and how product implementation and current processes could be improved.Capture and share best practice knowledge among teams and the community.Other duties as assigned.QualificationsMaster’s of Arts/Science10+ years of experienceIAT II certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-MTS/SCI clearance required.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesHands-on knowledge in Microsoft SharePoint Design and DevelopmentExperience in graphics and designKnowledge of and experience with web-based technologiesExpert knowledge of HTML, Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or other design-related applications
