Julie Billiart Schools serve children in grades K-8 with unique learning differences. Currently, we have campuses in Akron, Lyndhurst, Westlake, and Brecksville that offer unique learning environments for students with autism, ADD/ADHD, dyslexia, specific learning deficiencies, and social learning challenges.About the RoleJulie Billiart Schools is seeking a dynamic, highly-motivated Marketing Specialist to join the Central Office Team. The Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for day-to-day operations that generate brand awareness, increase leads, and tell the stories of Julie Billiart Schools’ students, faculty, and staff. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for network-wide social media, email campaigns, content creation, event research and preparation, lead generation, and other tactics.Duties and ResponsibilitiesExecute strategies that generate, nurture, and track new leads for our schools in Akron, Lyndhurst, Westlake, and BrecksvilleDevelop marketing materials to help grow the organization and communicate valueContribute to the Julie Billiart Schools’ website (post regular blogs, make regular updates to the site, track site usage and trends, etc.)Create design-based materials as needed for various school offices including Admissions, Advancement, Alumni Relations, HR, and campus needs (presentations, fliers, graphics, stationery, printed and digital collateral)Generate monthly, quarterly, and project-based reports to demonstrate social media and website trends and growthProduce and distribute e-Newsletter for more than 4,000 readersManage the design, inventory, and distribution of JB-branded materials and merchandiseWrite monthly blog posts and news stories that promote Julie Billiart Schools’ faculty and staff as experts in their fields and bring further credibility to the organizationManage the daily posting, engagement, and assessment of all social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and for 4+ schools)Work closely with Offices of Advancement and Admissions to help promote special events and initiatives with social media, email, and printed materialsWork closely with key stakeholders to track new leads and develop a multitude of touch points across the JB networkCreate targeted messaging and tactics for all school audiences including prospective families (leads), current families, faculty and staff, alumni, donors, and community partnersOther duties as assigned by supervisorRequirements

Education, Experience, and Qualifications2-3 years of experience contributing to marketing plans and creating marketing materials for a variety of audiencesComfortable multi-tasking, and working alone, on teams, or with customersExperience in researching via the web, phone networking, or other resourcesStrong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detailExpresses strong creativity, vision, and initiativeBasic design skills and attention to design elements requiredBachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, or a related fieldExperience with content management system(s) and marketing automation system(s) preferredHighly motivated self-starter who can quickly learn the current JB marketing landscapePhysical RequirementsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
