SUMMARYThe Sales and Marketing Assistant will provide administrative support to the sales and marketing development departments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESProvide a variety of administrative support functions in support of Marketing and Sales Development staff including:Manages team calendar and handles scheduling and preparation for all-team meetings.Orders meals and promotional items as requested and may run event-related errands (as needed)Manages vendor invoices, tracks payments and monitors budgets for events.Tracks and orders marketing and sales suppliesMaintains a directory and inventory of sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinates creation of new materials as needed.Maintains comprehensive competitive comparison library for all product categories.Assists in the organizing of promotional events and traditional or digital campaigns.May compile, format, and summarize information, graphs, and presentations.Helps oversee company's social media presence and creates unique ideas to drive engagement.Supports other general tasks as directed.QUALIFICATIONSProficient in MS Office, including Word, Power Point and ExcelStrong writing and communications skillsAbility to work independently and through collaboration and co-creationAbility to manage multiple priorities and projectsHighly organized and excellent attention to detailEducation and Work ExperienceBachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field requiredMinimum 2 years relevant experience requiredGraphic design experience required;Adobe CS Suite preferredKnowledge of Website CMS (content management system) a plusPHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENTPhysical DemandsMust be able to:Perform activities including bending, stooping, standing, walkingStand and walk from two (2) to four (4) hours per dayClimb up and down stairs two (2) to four (4) times per dayOperate common office equipment, i.e. PC, phone, copier, printer, faxWork in office environment and on occasion in climate-controlled factoryTravel occasionally, by various means of transportation, including car, train, bus, planeHours of Work7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (flexible start time)
