Job Overview:
The Marketing Director is responsible for developing and cultivating new patient prospects for admission to the facility. The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining relations with community partners, family members, and facility personnel.
Responsibilities:
Interview residents/guardians/sponsors and obtaining required admission informationAssist in resident admission orientation programMaintain an accurate record of available beds and censusAbstract information from records as authorized/required for insurance companiesNotify staff when the resident has arrived at the facility to escort the resident to assigned roomMaintain confidentiality of resident care information including protected health informationReport known or suspected incidents of unauthorized disclosure of such informationDevelop, schedule, and guide tours/personnel throughout the facilityKeep a supply of brochures and other printed materials readily availableMaintain an adequate liaison with families, residents, and the communityPlan and implement special events that serve to advance staff, residents, and community relationsAttend and participate in workshops, seminars, etc, as approved.Perofrm other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Must have atleast 1 year of experienceMust possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GEDBe knowledgeable with Microsoft Office (Outlooks, Word, Excel).Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasmMust be willing to handle residents, staff, and visitors, based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioningMust be able to maintain strong working relationships with hospital Social Workers, Doctors, and other members of the healthcare professional community
