RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for execution of assigned client projects as it pertains to designReceive and discuss briefs on jobs from/ with Account ServiceWork with Copywriters, Producers, Project managers and account service people as team on assigned accounts to determine client needs, selling concepts, and strategies.Create a range of concepts and designs for each project and be able to partner with copywriters to ensure the art direction and visual presentation supports the concept.Communicate visual designs, motion design, concepts and storyboards through presentations and secure client approval of recommended designsMay lead a team of designers and production artists to execute cross channel and digital workOn concept approval, find or create the best visualization of the product within budget limits.Responsible for the accuracy of release materials and ensuring that they are prepared on time.Collaborate with Account Service / Project Manager / Producer in aligning team priorities with business objectives to deliver high-quality work on time and on budgetDevelop presentation approaches, styles, and techniques for the team to implementDaily review of job status with the Creative DirectorChoose and place all visual elements of the project, including type, illustrations, and photographs necessary to produce the intended image.Select photographers/illustrators/directors from among sources which s/he has developed; and work closely with them, or direct them, to ensure the original concept approved by the client is carried out. (However, the producer also plays a large part in managing the creation of work with the schedule and budget)Efficiently manage the time and workload of supporting production artists and outside contractors cooperating with Producers.Direct photographers/directors at photo or video shootsCheck and approve all visual materials through all stages of pre-production and production.Coordinate necessary activities with the Producer, i.e., adequate lead times, special requirements, notice of absence from office, etc.Secure approval of layouts and final art from the Account Service and keeps him/her and the CD aware of pertinent account activity.Analyze market trends, consumer need, and the competitive landscape, and track campaign performanceMaintain consistently high graphic standards and is aware of new techniques and trends in graphic arts and the interactive world. Disseminate such information to others in the Creative Department.Maintain personal graphic resources, visual data, samples, graphic standards, manuals, etc.Meet deadlines, or informs appropriates authority in advance, and obtain extra time in which to complete assignments.Prepares new business presentations work as requested.Ensure team adheres to current processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and proposing and creating processes and tools to support design operationsParticipate in brainstorms and ideation sessions.Serve as a peer reviewer during internal reviews.

QUALIFICATIONSA minimum of 3 years of experience delivering digital projects. Experience in brand identity design, data visualization and illustration is also valued.Bachelor’s degree in fine art, graphic design, or similar disciplineStrong creative vision with an understanding of business objectivesHave a refined design eye, know how to tastefully use typography, and always strive towards excellence in your craftStrategic mindset, and a deep understanding of design principles.Able to execute own projects from concept through final deliverableStrong attention to detail. Self-starter.Solutions-oriented and resourceful. Accountable, independent, and mindful of others. A positive attitude and a collaborative personality.The ability to clearly and confidently present your work in front of both internal and external audiences.Ability to keep up with current trends in digital design, development, and communication technologies.Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite-in particular Photoshop, Illustrator and lnDesign.Experience supervising junior or production designers is a plus.Have a solid knowledge of photography and video production is a plusStrives to deliver superior work within timeframeExcellent organizational skill and multitasking abilityDeep knowledge of Information Architecture (IA) and User Experience (UX) methods for responsive web and mobile app design is a plus.The ability to define and document great user-centered digital experiences is a plus.Knowledge of Sketch, Adobe Muse, Adobe Edge or other new design and prototyping software tools is a plus.Winning any awards will be an advantage_______________________________EG+ is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
