:The Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing the organic social media strategy, content marketing execution and community management while improving brand awareness and fostering consumer engagement and loyalty.The ideal candidate should be highly motivated, have attention to detail and awareness of brand voice and customer empathy. A mindset and ability to collaborate effectively across multiple brands and alongside internal creative and digital teams will be key. A willingness to leverage existing process while implementing new best practices is necessary. This role is hybrid (onsite in Fond du Lac, WI 2-3 days a week)ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCollaborate with brand marketing and shared teams to create and manage a content calendar inclusive of organic social media posts, blog content and influencer integrationsManage organic social platforms across our three brands – Mercury Marine, Mercury Racing and Quicksilver Products – on channels including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.Ownership of social media playbook, including an annual audit of channel performance, brand strategy inclusive of goals, KPIs and best practicesWork with brand marketing to curate content and drive awareness of owner’s channels and mobile applications as well as forum managementStay updated on the latest social media trends, tools, and best practices to ensure the company remains at the forefront of digital marketing and community managementExplore new channel opportunities with test and learn strategies to ensure brands are staying relevant on social mediaTake part in creating monthly blog topics, ensuring content is timely, engaging, and aligned to brand goals, assisting in process from concept through executionLead content opportunities by identifying cross-brand synergies and communicating with industry partnersStrategize cross-functionally with digital marketing and creative services on planning, execution and performance of key product launches and campaignsAnalyze social data to support strategic and executional recommendations & provide monthly reporting, detailing engagement rate, reach, followers, likes, comments, etc.Report on KPIs and goals during post campaign and product launch timeframesOrganize and aid in producing content with special guests, influencers, and industry partnersExecutes against brand influencer strategy, identifying and working with key influencers to drive growthActively engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner to foster a positive community atmosphereConnect consumers with our product support team in Service when neededMonitor Social Outlook inbox for influencer requests, product questions, and other inquiriesOther duties as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related course of study5-6 years of relevant professional experience including social media management and developing and executing a social media strategyIntermediate level of experience creating engaging content for social media including Reels, Stories, YouTube shortsIntermediate level of experience with social media management tools such as HootsuiteIntermediate level of experience with influencer management as well as management tools such as KlearIntermediate skill level with a design tool such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop/IllustratorProven track record of organizational skills and management across multiple stakeholdersDemonstrated success translating visual brand identity to social mediaPassion for learning and remaining current on all forms of social media including emerging channels such as TikTokExcellent copywriting skills and ability to develop on-brand copy with strong attention to detailHave a passion and desire to engage on social media in real-timeA passion for content creation that resonates and is personalized to target audiencesAbility to support community management across dedicated brandsIntermediate level of experience with MS Office tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, and WordSEO experience desired, but not requiredExperience working in a project management program desired, but not requiredAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, team environment within a matrix organizationNext is Now!We value growth and development, recognizing that people come with a wealth of experience and talent beyond just the technical requirements of a job.
