CategoryContractorsJob DescriptionSummary:Yorktown Systems Group, Inc. is seeking a qualified Audio-Visual Lead to provide professional services and mission support to the U.S. Army Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) located at Fort Polk, Louisiana. Mission Support services for the JRTC, one of the US Army's Combat Training Centers, entails providing realistic, graduate-level collective training experience at the Brigade Combat Team (BCT) level with the primary objective of training light infantry, airborne, air assault, rangers and other special operations units. Historically, the JRTC has hosted rotational exercises for US Army motorized and mechanized formations, as well as select units from the US Marine Corp, US Navy or US Air Force.The JRTC typically hosts ten standard rotational exercises each Fiscal Year (FY). Typical standard rotational exercises are designed based on a 14 calendar day training period with 18 calendar days of Live Fires typically starting prior to Force on Force (FOF) and running concurrently during the fourteen (14) training days. The standard training exercise is scripted and typically based on any combination of offense, defense, and stability operations. Standard rotations take place in a generic region with scenarios and Opposing Forces (OPFOR) threats based on the Decisive Action Training Environment (DATE). Rotational Training Unit (RTU) missions conducted during standard rotations are generally in direct alignment to the RTU's standard Mission Essential Task List (METL) and training objectives.Specific duties may include, but are not limited to:Provide video, audio, and still photography support for the JRTC to be used to develop multi-media AAR's and media on the battlefield scenario events.Support staffing to support and operate field cameras in up to 18 independent locations, eight permanent theaters, three mobile production centers, two road packages, and three edit stations.A/V support shall be accomplished within the capabilities of the government furnished property (GFP).Provide still photography and/or video of combat actions (Soldiers in movement, live fire engagements and vehicle engagements, etc.) or as directed by the Government.Perform the required management, resource allocation, scheduling and organizational functions required to accomplish audio visual support for each rotation.Provide technical and professional expertise to integrate, direct, record, edit, and duplicate all AAR's.Capture the Combined Arms Rehearsal (CAR) and other RTU events as identified prior to and/or after a rotation.Provide a video/media on the battlefield/newspaper summary NLT the 8th of every month for the preceding month.Required Qualifications:Must be a U.S. citizen.Must possess, at a minimum, professional education along with military or civilian supervisory experience commensurate with management of all aspects of audio-visual operations.Previous experience as a combat photographer is preferred.Clearance:
