Looking for a new challenge and opportunity to contribute to a thriving, global financial services firm?This position, in Baird’s corporate Marketing & Communications department, will support the firm’s institutional-focused business units – Global Investment Banking (GIB), Asset Management, Institutional Equities & Research (IER), Fixed Income Capital Markets (FICM) and Baird Capital – by supporting the senior members of the Institutional Marketing team in planning, developing and implementing the marketing and communications programs. This role requires an individual who possesses some fundamental marketing/experience, shows strong verbal and written communication skills and can manage a number of important projects in a fast-paced environment.As an Institutional Marketing Coordinator, you will:Support senior members of the Institutional Marketing team in helping execute and measure annual marketing plans and strategies for select Baird businesses.Serve as the main point of contact to coordinate all investment banking transaction announcement communications.Coordinate the development and execution of different marketing and communications materials (invitations, signage, etc.) supporting client facing events, such as investor conferences.Liaise with professionals within Baird’s business units to collect feedback and/or inputs on a variety of communication tools or ideas.Collaborate with other professionals in Baird’s Marketing & Communication department, such as Corporate Communications, Digital, and Graphic Design and more to help execute integrated marketing & communications initiatives.Collect and help assess analytics and other measures to evaluate impact of and guide future decisions and recommendations for marketing initiatives.Coordinate graphics and other content for Baird and business unit social media channels.Manage ongoing enhancements and updates to marketing tools, including brochures, flyers, website and other communications pieces.What makes this opportunity great:This role offers a marketer the opportunity to grow their skills in multidisciplinary marketing by helping to develop and implement a variety of different campaigns, programs and tactics to achieve the business’ sales, client communications and branding goals.This role involves an opportunity to learn about several of Baird’s unique business units and their offerings – mergers and acquisitions, fixed income investing, equity research, investor conferences, to name just a few.This role is part of Baird’s Corporate Marketing & Communications team, a dynamic group of 50+ marketing, PR, digital and creative services professionals.Baird offers a unique culture that values diverse backgrounds and perspectives while emphasizing teamwork and a strong sense of partnership; supports and provides a flexible environment to grow and be your best at work, at home, and in the community.What we look for:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Public Relations or related Communications field.2+ years of marketing, PR or communications or marketing agency account management experience.Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and email marketing platforms s is a plus.Excellent verbal and written communications skillsA track record as a curious self-starter who both desires to learn and contribute more and can learn quickly.Aptitude and desire to work in a face-paced and challenging environmentSuperior project management skills; must be able to successfully execute and report on multiple activities for multiple clients at the same time.Ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a cross-functional Marketing & Communications team environment.Who we are:Baird is an employee owned, international wealth management, capital markets, private equity and asset management firm with offices in the United States, Europe and Asia.
