Position Summary:Brazos Electric is seeking a communications professional for the Member Services department. The successful candidate will be responsible for building positive internal and external relationships with employees, member cooperatives, and other interested parties. This position will serve as a point of contact for all member cooperatives, provide information and technical assistance, and proactively address and resolve member cooperative issues to ensure satisfaction. This role will be responsible for various projects including website design and maintenance, development and management of social media, company brochure, and other communication material.Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:Communications and Member Services:Manage and support communication with and between members, Brazos employees, and external parties, including the development of communication materials. Provide continuous member services to member cooperatives that will ensure member satisfaction and a positive member experience. Conduct regular cooperative visits with assigned member cooperatives.Develop and maintain a working relationship with Member Cooperatives. Understand the member cooperative’s business needs and objectives to provide tailored solutions.Serve as a point of contact between member-owners and the project management department related to member extension projects, transmission improvements, and maintenance located in member owner service territory.Manage the relationship between Members and Brazos Electric through formal and informal communications (written and otherwise).Develop communications with public media in accordance with instruction from the Director of Member Services.Generate engaging and relevant content for various platforms, including blog posts, social media, newsletters, and website content and ensure consistency in messaging across all mediums.Provide quality follow-up on promised deliverables.Plan, coordinate and participate in BEPC member services events, Members’ annual meetings and member relationship development gatherings (during or after business hours). Assist in the preparation of functional reportsEducation and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in public relations, communications, marketing, business, or related degree.Three (3) years of related professional experience.Strong written and verbal communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
