Overview

We are seeking a full-time

Senior Internal Communications Specialist

in our Olathe, KS location. In this role, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of Garmin internal communications projects as an individual contributor working cross-functionally with enterprise business partners and Garmin's in-house creative agency to ensure associate communications and program marketing assets are delivered on schedule and in alignment with strategic internal business partner objectives.

Essential FunctionsPlan, write, edit and disseminate a range of corporate content to ensure that associates stay informed/engaged with life at Garmin as part of the corporate communications team.Serve as primary gatekeeper for Garmin internal projects/content, working with enterprise business partners to determine communications deliverables and ensure their timely completion and distribution.Facilitate the planning, development and delivery of communications campaigns and collateral for Human Resources, Global Facilities, and other enterprise business partners.Maintain an editorial calendar and develop a content strategy for the Garmin global associate blog, Waypoints.Write content for internal eblasts, the associate Intranet site, and Garmin.com corporate blog.Curate, repurpose and edit existing content to improve the reach of Garmin internal communications.Develop/execute content strategies for a variety of platforms such as digital signage, internal communications email account, and the corporate Intranet.Ensure associates are informed/engaged with life at Garmin through a variety of communications inclusive of corporate news, associate programs, events and product announcements.Support change management communications to leadership on an as-needed basis.Collaborate with MarCom on the creation of a database of approved assets for global facilities projects.Assist in developing processes and templates to improve global internal communications and efficiencies.Assist with Garmin events through volunteer coordination and delivery of third-party marketing collateral.Support corporate marketing programs for enterprise business partners as needed.Basic QualificationsBachelor's Degree in advertising, marketing, journalism, communications or business communications

AND

a minimum of 5 years experience in a communications role (preferably internal or corporate communications).Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.Strong communications skills including copywriting, editing and familiarity with AP style.Ability to work independently on deadline while collaborating with multiple stakeholders.Proficiency in word processing, content management and distribution platforms.Desired Qualifications
