Job Description

Product Marketing SpecialistThe goal of this role is to align product positioning with customer needs so customers will buy and use our products and become loyal customers. Through market research, the creation of personas, and analysis of the buyer journey, this role will frame our product in a way that resonates with potential clients. This role will use customer insights and win/loss interviews to assess customer satisfaction and help shape product roadmaps.

Qualifications

Requirements:Liaison with Product, Sales, and Marketing to manage and execute successful product positioning, market-oriented messaging, and competitive product differentiation.Coordinate and execute customer research to identify buyer personas and the buyer journey.Share market-oriented knowledge and collaborate with sales and product management to ensure alignment to brand messaging.Work proactively to deepen our understanding of the market, customers, and product. Understand the market, buyers, buyer behavior, and key buying criteria.Translate solution descriptions, features, and benefits into impactful, market-oriented content to support demand generation and sales.Collaborate with product managers, sales, and other stakeholders to develop sales enablement training sessions and associated tools.Manage go-to-market product launches, delivering high-quality messaging and screenshots that communicate the value of new or enhanced functionality.Manage the production of content for customers — such as user guides, live product trainings, video scripts, and best practice articles.Work with the demand team to determine ways to drive better adoption and upsell of products and help existing customers get more value out of our software.Supporting the ongoing growth of new products and services.Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, Communication or related field.5 years of product marketing experience.Very effective written and oral communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills. Must be able to communicate effectively to a wide variety of audiences including external facing and internal facing such as software development teams, technical support, end-users, and sales.Cross-functional collaboration skills.Outstanding organizational and time management skills.Must be able to identify, analyze and solve complex problems in an efficient manner.
