Work is performed in accordance with established policies and procedures. Work is directed and reviewed through the establishment of goals and subsequent evaluation of progress toward goal attainment.

Monitors and ensures compliance with policies and procedures.Plans work schedules, and assigns and supervises the work of food service employees.Coordinates with department’s Marketing Director, Marketing all areas of the golf division to attract new business.Assists with green fee sales and cart rental as needed.Assures compliance of facility with health department codes.Conducts weekly food service inventory.Assists in recruitment and selection of food service workers.Maintains accurate cash drawers and accounts for daily receipts.Responsible for ordering and stocking of food supplies and beverages for resale.Analyzes and summarizes information to support project planning and/or responding to public issues.Prepares reports and recommendations.May conduct oral presentations regarding process changes or topics researched.Coordinates special projects involving multiple divisions.Prepares correspondence, brochures, and other narrative material.Coordinates state and federally funded program contract compliance.Composes correspondence, frequently not subject to review.Conducts research and prepares reports with recommendations of proposed solutions and courses of action.Receives inquiries and furnishes information requested.Confers with citizens and representatives of other organizations.Facilitates boards, committees, and/or task forces in information gathering and analysis.May plan, delegate and evaluate the work of others.Completion of work assignments will require the operation of a vehicle.These examples are not intended to be all-inclusive.Other related duties may be assigned as needed.Requirements of Work

Knowledge of marketing techniques and trendsKnowledge of social media marketingKnowledge of food and beverage service operations and proceduresKnowledge of City Health Codes and OrdinancesKnowledge of inventory and order records keepingKnowledge of and ability to work with the four functions of mathematicsAbility to effectively market for and recruit food service businessAbility to meet and deal pleasantly with the publicAbility to train, instruct, direct, organize and schedule staffAbility to move about quickly and reach, bend, stoop or squatAbility to lift boxes and containers weighing up to 80 lbs.Ability to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to develop menusAbility to develop and maintain working relationships with co-workers and representatives of outside agenciesMust have and maintain a valid Kansas Class C Driver's LicenseAn employee may not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.Required Experience and Training

Bachelor's degree in marketing or 3 years’ experience working in marketing required.1 year of supervisory experience preferred.1 year experience in Golf course food and beverage preferred.Valid Kansas Driver's License required.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need of a sponsorship.

Offers of employment will be made contingent upon passing a pre-employment physical, which will include drug screening, and upon satisfactory evaluation of the results of a police records check.
