is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented

Marketing and Communications Coordinator

to join our team. As a key member of our MarComm team, you will play a crucial role in supporting and promoting our mission while developing your personal and professional skills.

Responsibilities:

Strategy (10%)Collaborate with the Marcomm team to help develop and execute strategic communication plans.Assist in maintaining web content and executing social media strategies.Track projects and media exposure.Content (65%)

Assist in drafting and editing communications copy, including press releases, publications, and social media posts.Manage social media accounts and track performance metrics.Ensure consistent messaging across all channels.Events (5%)

Assist in planning and promoting events, workshops, and conferences.Collaborate with the Marcomm team to develop event-specific marketing materials.Coordinate event logistics, including invitations, registrations, and follow-up communications.Ensure successful event communication.Media (10%)

Coordinate interviews, press conferences, and media coverage.Monitor media mentions and respond effectively.Prepare press kits, respond to media inquiries, and coordinate interviews.Support (10%)

Be a liaison to various internal teams and programs as assigned.Maintain MarComm calendars, appointments, and project timelines.Track and analyze marketing metrics, website traffic, and social media engagement.Prepare regular reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness.

Requirements and Skills:Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a marketing and communications environment.Education:

BA/BS in marketing, communications, or a related field.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Solid writing, editing, and research skills.Strong attention to detail.Passion to impact lives through communication.Ability to manage multiple tasks.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media platforms, Adobe CC, and WP CMS.
